Treating ich with cichlid salt?

Is cichlid salt sufficient to treat Ich? If so in normal reccomended dose? Higher? All i can find re treating Ich references aquarium salt, but I know all salts are not created equal!

I use regular table salt.  Pure sodium chloride.
75gal   W/T Haras, Met. Membe Deep, and Kawanga Golds
60gal   Ps. Saulosi (1M and 9F) and 1 lonely OB Peacock.

I used Imagitarium Parasite Remedy bought at my local petco active ingredients are Tagetes Oil Black Pepper Oil Neem Oil and it worked for me cured my fish it did leave an oily film on top the water for a couple weeks but it was easily skimmed off during the following water change.

My mbuna tank has been running over 6 years and usually add a tablespoon of aquarium salt every water change. I have never had ich or any other ailment. All my fish came from the same store (KGTropicals) and we are on a well.

He got out of the business over a year ago. They put out many You tube videos. They mainly sold on-line and tried to run a store about 25 miles from me, my son lives about 2 miles from where his store was. Petco and Petsmart killed his business.

    I have a video on my youtube channel that explains my entire API salt and heat ich treatment.. Its natural and far less stressful on fish.  Works effectively and then I maintain a ich free environment with a good water change regiment and temperature consistency..
