i know theres some guys on a facebook group that im a member of uses gel foods for their fish. Most of them I believe are those who have fish houses and larger quantities of fish. I had thought about it out of curiosity though but I probably wont try mine on it, they ar still confused by the stick on glass algae and spiralina tabs that I use with the northfin pellets

Thanks for the reply there doesn't seem to be a great deal of response for this thread maybe it's not a product used much. Mine love the stick on algae tablets and can't get enough!

I've seen you tube videos of people feeding gel foods and got the impression it smells real bad. I stick to flakes and pellets

I'm giving my tropheus this product, its ok. Its kind of nice to give the fish a different form of food.

Ah. A newbie brings up and old thread.

IMO, NLS in general makes a good product.  This maybe better for "browsers" and bottom feeders.  I still stick to pellets.  I like my fishes "attacking' the surface.
75gal   W/T Haras, Met. Membe Deep, and Kawanga Golds
60gal   Ps. Saulosi (1M and 9F) and 1 lonely OB Peacock.
