Metriaclima Estherae (Red Blue Strain)
« on: November 08, 2016, 01:04:08 AM »

I am looking for a strain of the red zebra I had many years ago.  The males are blue and the females and young are orange to red.  Local pet stores in Houston seem to only offer the strain where all the red zebras are either orange or red.

Any help on pointing me in the right direction on where to obtain these fish would be much appreciated.

Welcome to ACH  :thumbup  Hop over to the New Members section and tell us a bit about yourself and your tank/s   As far as M. estherae "Blue", I haven't seen any for sale in a long time. If you're interested in a blue coloration zebra, you can find M. callainos (cobalt) and M. greshakei (ice blue) pretty much everywhere. They don't have "red" females but the male colorations are still nice. I would love to find Blue M. estherae myself
Steve's the name but Yanks will do!
